Nakivo Backup & Replication 10.4 Announcement

Nakivo has announced a newer version of Backup & Replication solution 10.4 which consists of 2 new security features & 1 recovery feature for the Nutanix AHV.
What’s new in Nakivo Backup & Replication 10.4:
Two Factor Authentication:
Nowadays you will see that login security is the top priority of most of organizations so that any unauthorized logins can be blocked. Two factor authentication plays very critical role in avoiding such logins. You all might be aware about it that Two factor authentication adds additional security to your login. Where you must provide security code for successful login. Nakivo has added this functionality into it’s solution so that only authorized person or team can login into backup solution to perform day to day operations.
Immutable recovery:
Whenever backups are stored at locations which can be easily accessed by many peoples. So, it can create problem when if any user modifies data or deletes data even if any ransomware attack occurs it can encrypt the data. So, to protect your data from such breaches you can easily enable immutability for backups and backup copies sent to a Linux-based local repository. Once it is configured it cannot be revoked except by the super users.
Instant Granular recovery for Nutanix AHV:
Granular recovery is very useful in various applications such as Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory & others. So that whenever if any single object or file is needed it can be recovered. Some times even recovery can be time taking so there is always feature available as Instant recovery. Nakivo Backup & Replication already supports instant recovery to VMware solutions but now it is being added for Nutanix AHV as well so that you have instant recovery for both the virtualization platforms. With help of instant granular recovery, you can perform recovery to the original or a different VM or export the data to a custom location without recovering the entire VM.
