Configure Login message in vCenter Server

In every organization we see there is always login message which is displayed while we login into any server or any device. So in case of vCenter Server as well there is one feature which allows you to configure your own login message in the vCenter Server. So that anyone who is login will see that login message every time. In this post we will see on How you can configure login message in vCenter Server.

Login message is the way where you can show that there is something confidential & only access if you are authorized to access. Normally in every windows server we configure it but in this post we will see on how we can configure login message in the vCenter Server 7 step by step.

So let’s see how to configure login message in vCenter Server:

Step 1:
Login to your vCenter Server.
Select Administration from the home screen.

Step 2:
Select Configuration from Single Sign On from navigator.
Select Login Message.
Here you can view & manage the login message.
Click on Edit button to setup the login message.

Step 3:
Here you can specify your login message.
You can also enable checkbox tick mark so that user is aware about the same.
Click Save to exit the wizard.

Step 4:
You can see that login message is setup successfully.

Now you can verify the login message by login to vCenter server again.

You can see from the above image that there is new checkbox is added to the login screen “I agree to Terms & Conditions”. If you click on the Terms & Conditions you will see the login message which you have setup in vCenter Server.

So using this way you can configure login message in your vCenter Server so that whoever is logging into vCenter server they are aware about the terms & conditions.
