In previous post we have installed the windows admin center successfully. So after installing the windows admin center you need to add servers into it so that you can manage & monitor them remotely. In this post we will see on how we can add windows server in Windows Admin Center.
Adding servers in windows admin center is very simple you just need to put the server name & provide credentials to add the windows servers. You can either use your currently login credentials or you can provide other credentials which have access to the servers.

In this post we are adding windows server 2019 to the windows admin center. Previous versions of windows servers are also supported & can be managed but it requires WMF 5.1 to be installed. So we will create different post on the same.
Let’ see how to add Windows Server in windows admin center:
Login to the windows admin center.
You will see the default home screen.
Click on Add button to add the windows server.
Here you will see 4 different resources which you can add to windows admin center.
We are only adding windows server.
So under servers box click Add button.
Provide the server name in the box.
Once server search is completed you will be asked for the credentials.
You can either use your own login account as credentials or you can provide separate credentials to add & manage server in windows admin center.
Click on Add with credentials to add the server.
Now you will see the success prompt at the top right corner & your server is added to the Windows admin center successfully.
That’s it, Using this way you can easily add your windows servers into windows admin center to monitor & manage them.
Windows Admin Center can manage windows server 2012, 2012 R2, 2016 , 2019 & Hyper-V Servers as well. Also you can add windows 10 systems which you want to manage & monitor. You can also manage your Azure VMs using windows admin center.
So if you look at the overall perspective windows admin center is must have tool to manage & monitor all your windows servers from single page.
