How to configure vSwitch Security policies ?

vSwitch provides the 3 different security policy which you can configure to provide the additional security to your vSphere Standard Switch. Security policy helps in making the network more secure in virtual environment.

Let’s see how you can setup security policies on vSwitch :-

Step 1:
Login to vSphere Web Client.

Step 2:
Choose the Hosts & Clusters from the Home Screen.

Step 3:
Choose the vSwitch on which you want to configure Security Policies.
Choose Following as shown:-
ESXi Host > Manage > Networking > Virtual Switches.
Here you will find your vSwitch.
Click on the icon shown with Number 5 to configure Security Policies


Step 4:
Choose the Second option Security.
Here you can configure Security as you required.


That’s it you have successfully configures security policies on vSwitch.
